Samantha Ramirez-Herrera, better known as SamOffThaRecord is an Atlanta based blogger, media correspondent, writer, and overall creator and advocate of all things Music+Art+ Style+ Beauty+Film. Since launching a career as a freelance entertainment writer in 2011, Sam has landed interviews with multiple up and rising indie talent and notable artists in the music & art industry. She has been a contributor to multiple media outlets including Atlanta's publication Creative Loafing and New York publication Afropunk.com. With a growing passion for all things entertainment, she began to learn and master new skills such as filming, editing, shooting photography and content creation. Sam has never limited herself to just one arena, she believes that with enough drive, ambition, and hard work, the possibilities are endless. With that belief in mind, Sam has made her way around the Westcoast, Atlanta, and New York spreading her mantra and movement "LIVE-CREATE-INSPIRE". In December 2013 she created and launched "The SamOffThaRecord Experience", a webshow she produces, directs, and partially shoots & edits in partnership with BlvckLvb Media. Her other talents include music video treatment writing and directing, creative direction for brands and artists, event hosting, music video & print model, as well as a motivational speaker at various schools.
